Balafon raised $1,179.20
during the Pittsburgh IS ART Day of Giving
from eleven new donors!

Thank you Pittsburgh for your continued support!

Balafon received $15,000 from the "Advancing the Black Arts in
Pittsburgh Fund" from the Robert C. Smith Fund and the Betsy R. Clark Fund
of the Pittsburgh Foundation.

The funding will support Balafon's
"Welcome to the Black River" African Dance Conference,
which will take place in Spring 2012.
